Wanna lose weight?
I’m thrilled to share Lynne’s incredible journey and how she finally broke free from her lifelong struggle with weight.
Weight loss became “effortless” for Lynne after our coaching sessions. Yes, effortless—in her own words.
But let me be clear: weight loss wasn’t the primary reason Lynne came to me. As a coach and a woman, I’m not here to glorify weight loss as the ultimate path to happiness or self-worth.
However, I know it’s on your mind, so let’s talk about it—honestly.
This isn’t another “motivation” spiel, because if that actually worked, we wouldn’t need this conversation.
Lynne had tried everything. Over and over. For years. Decades.
Does that sound familiar? If so, release any shame or embarrassment you might feel. There’s nothing wrong with you; you’re just dealing with more than the usual advice about macros and exercise (though those do play a role).
Here’s what Lynne needed to lose first:
The weight of trauma embedded in her body, and the emotional and physical scars it left behind. If you think trauma isn’t your issue, I encourage you to keep an open mind.
Your nervous system and emotions run the show most of the time, often without you realizing it. If you’re stuck in a cycle of disempowerment—whether it’s struggling with weight, body image, or anything else—it’s worth exploring what the missing piece might be.
For Lynne, that missing piece was unresolved trauma. Her nervous system had been in survival mode for so long that it threw everything out of balance, including her metabolism.
Even though Lynne’s current life seemed fine, there was unfinished business holding her back.
Lynne found me after watching one of my podcast interviews on Chemaine’s Model Health, where she recognized herself in my words.
She chose the Emotional Freedom and Empowerment Program to release not only the lingering effects of childhood trauma and an abusive marriage but also to emerge as a more empowered version of herself. She wanted to trust herself to maintain her well-being long term, and she’s done just that.
Watch the video below to hear Lynne’s story in her own words.
We never focused on weight loss during her coaching. Instead, we focused on healing and releasing the past while rebuilding her life to align with her authentic self (not the survival self). This shift made behavior change feel effortless, and that’s where the magic lies.
Our daily behaviors are either supporting or undermining our goals. By stepping into the version of yourself that loves and respects who you are, your behaviors naturally evolve to reflect that.
So, what would be different for you if your daily actions and attitude were rooted in self-love and self-respect, with your true self at the helm?
Lynne is now so in tune with her body that she responds to her needs with ease and confidence. Gone are the limiting beliefs and fears that once held her back. She no longer feels guilty about enjoying ice cream or feels the need to compulsively track every bite. She’s free.
Let’s circle back to weight loss.
I’m passionate about helping women step up and boldly claim their worth. I want you to care for and strengthen your body and love how it makes you feel. My mission is to help you achieve the best quality of life possible, without defining your worth by the number on the scale.
I’m NOT about quick fixes or shortcuts that lead to guilt, shame, deprivation, and eventually binging.
You don’t need more reasons to criticize yourself.
Here’s what I’m offering to support you:
Gentle Trauma Release coaching (available in both short-term and long-term packages) is perfect if you’re struggling with out-of-control behaviors, food obsession, weight loss, and exercise patterns that feel defeating, or if your nervous system is stressed after a life upheaval.
Long-term, I recognize the importance of finding a way to live with food—because let’s face it, it’s always going to be delicious. My goal is to help you walk that middle ground of satisfaction until you trust yourself to eat mindfully without the need for a rigid plan or the fear of “falling off the wagon.” (Spoiler: there’s no wagon.)
I’ll soon be sharing more offerings to support you with nutrition, so you can enjoy life and fuel your body for energy and vitality. I’m currently earning two new certifications and have partnered with a mental wellness company to enhance emotional resilience and bridge nutritional gaps that often arise from stressful lifestyles.
Strength is my focus for fitness, combined with mobility work and enjoyable activities like biking, walking, or swimming (no burpees, I promise!).
I offer flexible, budget-friendly options for online fitness coaching (or in-person if you’re local to Crossfield, AB). These programs remove the overwhelm of finding the right fitness plan for your goals and challenges.
In-person training can cost upwards of $800 a month, so I love making expert virtual mentorship accessible to women everywhere, tailored to your body, budget, and schedule.
Customized, personal support and guidance are game-changers compared to random workouts that get you nowhere—or worse, lead to injury. When was the last time you reviewed your exercise program to ensure it aligns with your goals? It might be time!
If you’re a woman over forty, prioritizing your strength is absolutely vital to ensuring a high quality of life for years to come. Menopause is a huge transition, and your body needs to be strong through it all.
Plus, the stronger you become, the more you’ll love your body’s curves and “toned” appearance. A stronger body means a more robust metabolism, so you don’t have to obsess over calories or consider invasive weight loss options with undesirable side effects.
How do you want your body to feel this fall?
Would you love to ooze confidence, ramp up your energy, and feel excited about your future?
Let’s connect for a no-strings-attached consultation. I’m here to support you with the next steps, and if we’re a good fit to work together, I’ll offer some options to help you totally LOVE how you feel.
My mission is to help you embody the most authentic, empowered version of yourself. She is powerful, and she loves taking care of her body!
I’m always happy to hear from you!
